Client Project: A Design Collaboration

May 9, 2018

When this client called on myself to assist them with their new home in Carlton Woods Creekside, there was not much left to do.  She is an Interior Designer by trade and had already designed and beautifully decorated most of their home.  They just needed a little help with some of the finishing touches.

ENTRY

Although you don't spend much time in your entry doesn't mean it can't be beautiful.  A welcoming entry greets your guests when they enter and sets the tone for the rest of the home.  Treat it as you would other parts of your home.  This beautiful space was faux painted by Phyllis of Transformation by Phyllis and her crew, to create texture and pattern to a plain stair wall.  Add chairs and an accent table styled with family heirlooms and fresh flowers and you're done!

DINING

The formal dining room, directly across from the entry, reflects a buffet niche finished in the same faux treatment as the entry which adds warmth and texture.  A custom round Feizy Rug and Drapery Panels in a beautiful silk stripe and glass beaded trim, fabricated by Charbonneau Interiors, add softness to the room.  Do not overlook the 5th wall - the ceiling.  Faux finished with a simple but interesting design, adds details and completes the look.

WINE GROTTO

Even small spaces want attention.  When entertaining, Linnea & Jack open the doors to their wine grotto to expose this beautifully faux painted space, made to look like stone and place emphasis on the groin vaulted ceiling.

MASTER BEDROOM

The Master Bedroom is a nod to the Traditional and Classic design that is evident throughout the home.  Gorgeous textiles in soft neutral colors provide comfort and elegance and transform the Master Bedroom into a personal haven for Linnea & Jack.  Custom bedding and intricate window treatments, fabricated by Charbonneau Interiors, will easily stand the "test of time".

MASTER BATHROOM

Continuing the traditional and elegant design into the Master Bathroom, similar window treatments were fabricated and installed above the soaking tub to provided softness to the window.  A beautiful stencil design was painted to highlight the tall, barrel ceiling.
